SAMUEL - I know a good many Samuels. All but one, a little boy, go by Sam.
JESSICA - I know GAZILLIONS of Jessicas. Only two go by Jessie. The rest go by Jess or the full Jessica. Jessicas seem to prefer Jess to Jessie in the same way Jennifers prefer Jen to Jenny. Funny, I prefer Jessie and Jenny.
JAMES - I know lots. Lots of older men who go by Jim and Jimmy. I know a couple younger Jameses who go Jamie, but most young ones go by James.
ALLIE - I know one Allie, whose full name is Allison. I know one Ali and her full name is Alexandra.
