[Opinions] Arthur or Jasper?
Which do you prefer and why? They are currently vying for my No. 1 spot. How I adore both: Jasper appealing to my colorful, artistic right brain, and Arthur to my orderly, crisp and clean left. Oh, the dramz.

Wow I really love them both. I would probably choose Arthur as it's a family name for me, but that doesn't help you of course!
I love Arthur, although it sounds better in some accents than in others.
I've never liked Jasper, and I think it has an unattractive sound.

Clearly I am going to say Jasper! But I'll say if you can't make up your mind about them, then go with Arthur "Art", it makes sense.
I like both, but right now I like Jasper more.
You are mean.
Like really mean.
It's not fair to make me choose between Jasper and Arthur! Gaaah, so hard. But okay, if I had to, I would probably go with Arthur right now. Sometimes I get a little bored with Jasper, but it hasn't happened with Arthur yet.

Jasper.
I like Jasper because of the gemstone, the clear sound, and the noble feeling of the name. I like Arthur because of King Arthur and that's about it. I don't like the nasal sound. The name has noble associations, but the sound of the name is anything but noble (it's more nasal and nerdy). Jasper has a noble sound, and it's smooth and hard and shiny just like the gemstone picture.

A while back I would have said Jasper, although I do prefer Casper/Kasper. Now that I have a friend who named a son Arthur, I find it really cute and not stuffy at all. Definitely a name a boy would grow into and be proud to carry through life.
I find Jasper the stuffier name now. I also I tend to think of Jasper as being very British for some reason.

Jasper time fifteen thousand.
Arthur is so stuffy and boring. It reminds me of anteaters.

Arthur 100%
It's on my own list, and although not near the top, I do love it. Jasper has never appealed to me, I would go so far as to say that I hate it, but I have little in the way of justification. :)

Arthur. I have no idea why.
