A lot of people listed Mira / Miri as nicknames. My niece is Mira - is Miriam too close?

As much as I love Miriam, yeah, I think it is. It'd be like using Julie or Lily if you had a niece named Juliana or Lillian (in fact, if I remember correctly you do have a niece named Lilyanna) -- one is basically a short form of the other.

How often will they see each other?If the answer is 'not often', then no, they're not too similar. If the answer is 'often', well, yes, they ARE too similar. That's how I see it.

I don't know the answer. Probably not often. I'm going to talk to my mom and brother tonight, see if they have a problem.Ugh. At least we have a few back-ups.
