[Opinions] Letty

I think Lettie is adorable. It is cute and peppy but not too cutesy.
I would use it as a nickname to Leticia or Charlotte.

It was my auntie's nickname for her dog Lettice. I hated that dog with a passion as a kid so the name doesn't have good memories for me. Nicknames as full names seem to be really popular nowadays, Letty would probably fit right in though it would definitely raise my eyebrows.
In general, I don't enjoy it. But I know a lovely Colette, nn Letty, so it does have potential.
Why do you write in pink?
Pretty?

Adorable and vaguely retro 40s with a hint of Edwardian. I love it for Leticia, Letitia, Laetitia, and possibly Scarlett.
I can't decide if I like it or not. I love Violet and Ayelet and Lettie (I prefer this spelling) would be a good nickname, but then sometimes it just feels weird in my mouth and I want to put too much emphasis on the EE.
It reminds me too much of the verb "let" which I don't think is a good association. It's too cutesy and it seems to me like an old lady's nickname. No, don't use it, unless you really like it or want to honour someone. But only in the middle name slot!
