What do you think of Grace?
Do you think it's too common? It places pretty high on the list which surprises me because I haven't met many girls named this at all. I looked up a list of combined spellings and it only places at #40-something because names with more alternative spellings place higher when spellings are combined. Of course it's really overused as a middle name. Too common?
I would never use the nickname Gracie, or at least try to avoid it. I don't dislike it but I think it's too cutesy.

I love Grace, both as a middle name and a first name. Popularity doesn't really bother me, so I'm not fussed by its ranking. I would not assume the parents of a Grace were religious.
I know three girls/women named Grace. One is in her eighties or nineties, one is in her twenties, and one is...I'm not sure exactly, but younger than ten. I also know a girl named Grace Cassidy who goes exclusively by Cassidy.

I really like Grace. It is on my favorites list. I don't think of it as overly religious. I think of it as classic, sweet, vibrant name.
I think it is kind of common. It is classic though and any Grace's I have known have been really spread out in age. So I don't think of it as super popular or common that your child will one of 10 in a class (although maybe in same communities or social circles).
I don't mind it as a given name but try to avoid it with a really common first name.

Grace is definitely a nice name, though my friends with that name are in no way graceful.
I think it used to be quite common, but now it's becoming less popular. But yeah, it is really overused as a middle name.
The spelling is fine, I wouldn't want to change it.

It's fine but nothing special. I would much rather see it as a double first name (with a separate middle name), such as Mary-Grace or Sarah-Grace.

Meh. It seems pretty in theory, but it's a little bland on an actual person. It also sounds a teeny bit pretentious...not on a young child, but on an adult. I think all virtue names are a little bit pretentious on adults.

I've met one Grace and too many that have it as a middle name. It used to be on my list as a middle for the combination Georgina Grace but I've decided that's its too boring and popular.
Recently I've become a huge fan of short one-syllable names, especially for girls, Grace ranks but isn't one of my favourites.
If I named my child Grace I would always be worried that they'd be really clumsy - like I was as a child - and be called Graceful in a teasing sort of way. Of course this is stupid because most children get teased no matter what, but it remains a potent concern.
I quite like Gracie, especially when the child's really little, I met a full-name Gracie but I think it's too cute to work on an adult.

I think it's a nice enough name, though very tired as a middle name. You can't take a step without tripping over an Ella Grace or an Anna Grace. Seems to be fairly popular as a first name too.
It has religious significance, that's why it started getting used in the first place, and it is definitely favored by devout people because of that. But there's more than one kind of grace; there's the grace of God, sure, and there's also physical grace, the Three Graces, and the kind of grace that a person has who knows how to act in any situation and how to make others feel at ease. That's what makes a person gracious.

I like Grace just fine, but I'm tired of hearing it. It's popular here, for first names AND middle names. It needs a long rest.
