Evelina reminds me of author
Fanny Burney, and thus,
Jane Austen. So it starts out with a huge advantage. Then it strikes me as energetic (which is good), if a tad on the overly frilly side (which is bad). That's where the
Jane Austen association come in and argues in its favor. So overall
Evelina get the thumbs up from me.
It's a nice alternative to
Cecilia or
Emilia.
And the nn
Evie is always a plus.
