Help[Opinions] How would you pronounce Oceane?
Oceane. I would tend to say it O-she-Ann. Btn says it is pronounced o-say-ahn.

Personally I do pronounce "aw-tse:ya-neh".

I pronounce it the French way, o-say-ahn but without the -ay sound (French é shouldn't be pronounced like -ay) so more like o-seh-ahn (é like the e in Eric).

Personally I'd go with O-sheen. But it's not a name that I've ever had to pronounce IRL so I'm probably very far off....

And if people use French names, surely the least they can do is take them over, pronunciation and all!

The BTN pronunciation and emphasis are definitely correct. I'd pronounce it that way, but then again I speak French so it was never really a question for me.
If you wanted to emphasize an "ann" sound at the end, maybe a slight variation of the original could make that clearer? Oceanne, maybe? Either way, pretty name.
