Help[Facts] Pronunciation of Agata and Sorcha
Both are listed in the name entry but there is significant disagreement in the comments section. Curious as to what the 'legitimate' pronunciations are

In Afrikaans, the G in Agata (usually the Agatha spelling) is best described as "like the ch in Scottish 'loch'". The middle syllable is stressed and lengthened: ah-XAAH-tah.
A friend of mine took a detective novel into the maternity ward with her for light relief and was startled when a nurse commented "I see you're reading ah-XAAH-tah Christie."

Yes... but two different Polish pronunciations are listed. We have a wide range of people so I knew I would get a response if pronunciations.

Sorcha is Sur-i-ka or Sor-kah depending on what part of Ireland you are from and what dialect you know. Not Surra or Sorra or any of the other offerings in the comments. I knew one person who say Sorsha - I think this is influenced by Saoirse.

Sorcha is pr. SORE-kah or SOR-uh-kah in Irish Gaelic.
About Agata, I think it differs between different languages, but in Swedish and Norwegian it's pronounced ah-GAH-tuh.
