I love Juniper, I first heard it after reading a book called The Juniper Game even though I didn't like the character all that much. I love that its nature-y but not too floral. It's happy and bouncy but still has some strength to it too. I also love the nn June. That said, I would not be brave enough to use it personally irl.

Yay, I think Juniper is super cool! Full of spunk, down to earth, and just great. I'd use Juno as a nickname. And if I was really on the ball, I'd find a Juniper O____ combo to make the Juno even more fitting. Juniper Odelia

Its hipster hippie if that makes any sense. Its too cool for the crunchy hippie but just sophisticated enough for the typewriter hipster. I do like it, though I'd never use it on my own kid. I wouldn't be offput if I saw it on another person's kid.

Juniper is a bit over the top for me. It's not an ugly name, I just don't think it's usable in real life. Maybe as a second name.Combinations:Juniper Sunday

It's not my style, seems too spunky characterish. But, I guess I can picture it being dignified on a grownup too. Grudgingly I say.Juniper Inanna

I think it's adorable. I'm not too found of the most likely nickname, though (June). Juniper is quirky without being ridiculous, IMO. Though I'd probably use it with a more common middle name to sort of even things out. I see it as feminine but not super girly, which is a plus for me. Juniper Charlotte

I love Juniper. It's quirky and sweet but not frilly or weak. I don't know about combinations (I take way too long to make them) but I would probably try to stick to classic names to tether Juniper back to earth a bit. :)
