[Opinions] Re: WDYTO Niklaus?
Niklaus is not used in Germany anymore, and a person with this name would probably be associated with the Niklaus (Nikolaus) who brings the presents for kids on December 6th. Niklaus was in use in medieval times in Germany. The name appears in a christmas carol called "Lasst uns froh und munter sein", where they sing "Niklaus ist ein guter Mann, dem man nicht genug danken kann" (Niklaus is a good man, we can't thank him enough).
