[Opinions] Liliana
What are your opinions on this name - generally, and for a character? Do you think it suits a 'doll'-type person?Bullet in the brainpan, squish.

Very frilly. Too frilly for my tastes. It's the epitome of a doll name.

I like it, but many might not. It certainly fits such a person who is like a doll.

Liliana used to be one of my favourites but I've long since preferred Lillian over it.
I'm not sure what you mean by a "doll"-type person. In theory Liliana looks frilly but I think a real life Liliana could be quite a strong girl.

Well, by 'doll'-type, I mean basically a living doll. It's to do with a story I'm writing about a girl who is raised to be a living doll (almost literally).

It is one of the ultimate "mommy's spoiled princess" names to me, so I'd say yes, it suits what I imagine to be a "doll" type person.

Liliana is a bit frilly, but usable. I know a six year old Liliana and a four year old Lilliana. The six year old has her moments of being a 'Plastic', like Regina in Mean Girls. The four year old, thankfully, hasn't had those tendencies.

I love it! I would have used it if it weren't my ex boyfriend'd sister's name. Are you pronouncing it lil-ee-arn-ah or lil-ee-ann-ah? I prefer the former rather than the latter. It definitely suits a doll type person
