Help[Surname] Bergfalk
I'm curious as to the origin of the name, and am not sure if I should be posting this here or not.
My ancestor, Anders Anderson, decided to use Berg to pass from generation to generation as gentlemen did. He then married a woman of higher ranking, and combined their names to form Bergfalk.
Does this make my last name invented?
