[Opinions] Re: Modern American Boy name?
I love Jamie on a boy. It feels about as dated as Jason and Brandon but I like both of those names too and think they're perfectly respectable. Besides, James is classic (not dated) and works just fine in modern times. An acquaintance of mine has a toddler named James._______________________________________

I know a four year old James who was named after his grandpa. I think classics can always be used, even if it's dated, since it's a classic and that overrides popularity in my mind.

Oh I agree, that was my point - Jamie might sound dated, but James is so classic that it will never be dated
