[Opinions] Devery
Just came across this name today, on an actress Devery Jacobs. I've never heard of it before now but I find myself quite liking it! It's on here as a user-submitted name (http://www.behindthename.com/submit/name/devery) but listed as masculine... what do ya'll think? I guess I can see it on a boy but I think it sounds better for a girl personally.
My PNL = http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/37275Top: Henry & Lara (main) and Caspian & Briar (GP)
Bottom: Dinadan & Jacoba (main) and Othniel & Melpomene (GP)

I don't mind it at all. I think I'd slightly prefer if on a boy. In the vein on Emery, Everett, Devon - all of which seem masculine to me.

Ah, yeah I can see that. I think I'm swayed towards feminine usage because the first and only time I heard the name was on the actress. But thinking on what you said I can see it on a boy now.

Reminds me of Avery too. Which is masculine in my eyes.

Makes me think of dervish and livery. It doesn't see like a name to me. It's makes me think it's a surname, word name, or a made up word name from sounds that people like (like Caylee), and I don't care for the sounds.
