[Opinions] Kinneret
Somehow I only encountered this name while looking through some of the database a few weeks ago. I thought the meaning was gorgeous and the sound pretty nice. Today I saw that a friend of a friend is named Kinneret. Somehow seeing it on a real person gave it more substance and made me like it even more. It made it feel more real-average-girl and less exotic. I'm happy to like a K name too because I really struggle with K! It's not an attractive letter to me.Thoughts on Kinneret? Any good combo ideas, preferably more realistic types?

I'm saying it KIN-er-et, but am not sure if that's correct. Googling it I get both that pronunciation and also kin-AIR-et.

I don't like it that much, it looks okay but I just don't like the sound of it. Also the start of the name Kinner means in Finnish a hock, fine I can look past that cause Kinner looks actually quite fun despite what it means, I quess my problem is more with the ending and the overall sound. I agree that the meaning is lovely. Kinneret Katie Noelle

I like it a lot, though I prefer Kynareth (http://www.behindthename.com/submit/name/kynareth), which is most likely a variation. Anyway, Kinneret is pretty but I find Kynareth even prettier, in both spelling and sound. Plus it's the name of my favorite goddess in one of my favorite games :PI like the nn Kyne (http://www.behindthename.com/submit/name/kyne), Kin, Kinny, Ari, and Retta.I'll edit in some Kinneret combo ideas in a bit! Here are some of my Kynareth combos:Clara Kynareth
Kynareth Mina Noemie

Kinneret Meira is pretty. I'm liking the keeping it Hebrew thing.Sorry, Kynareth doesn't look appealing to me at all. :)

Why so, just because it's not well known?Kinneret Sophia or Sophia Kinneret are my favorites! And I'm not even a big Sophia fan. They just go together very well.
