I love the name Joseph! So masculine, great, and Biblical! And mn status is fine, good with almost any good masculine, like Michael, Matthew, Luke, Eric, William, Frederick, Friedrich, Frederik Philip, Robert, Samuel, Karl, Brendan, etc. Don't know if any of those are your style, Adelle. It's a nice idea to honour Mikey's friend. A classic that's never out of style!
Edit: After reading your edit, I'll add something: I don't think too many names are directly off of your name list. Hope what I've given you helps!
