[Opinions] Angela
I've quite unexpectedly fallen in love with Angela. While most might deem it dated, I consider it a gentle classic and am immediately reminded of Dame Angela Lansbury whenever I think about the name. What do you all think? Do you know any young girls named Angela? How many people named Angela do you know? I'm curious.
Also, I've crafted some combos for Angela, and I'd love to read your responses if you're so inclined.

I adore Angela. It's ethereal and streetwise at the same time. It's gold turned brassy and loud. She's a real tough broad and a fine lady. I don't know any Angelas. I know and Angeline and an Angelina, both 30 and under, but no Angelas.
Of your combos, I particularly enjoy:
Angela Eve - I'm in mad love with this one. It's perfection.
Angela Ingrid - Film noir Angela!
Angela Maxine - extra-brassy Angela
Angela Peony - pink and yellow gold!
Angela Rosamond / Rosamund - Oh, Rosamund's rich staidness really makes Angela pop
Angela Rosemary - pert and tough as nails, circa 1945

Angela is a favorite of mine. I would probably not use it because it is dated and because the angel thing is a bit much for my style. But I like it. I went to school with a few Angelas, and one of them went by Angie. It's a really nice name. I dislike Angelina... too prissy.
Angela Vivien is nice. A. Eve, A. Rosemary, A. Constance too.
I'm not as opposed to combining -a names as you apparently are.

I almost share your view that Angela is a classic and while I don!t love it I like it and think it deserves more current use. You have many wonderful combos.
One thing I have found with Angela is the amazing number I have encountered whose surnames start with B. Know an Angela Baker and an Angela Bradbury from school. Then there are/were Angela Baddeley, Angela Buxton, etc. etc.
I know people called Angela in early to late middle-age but none younger.

Angela, eh? Well, I don't love it, but I guess it's okay. I know 4 Angela's, all of whom are in their early 30s.
While a few of your combos appeal to me (Angela Fern and Angela Hazel are probably my favourites), I would rather pair Angela with something much more youthful than your list. More along the lines of Angela Zoe. That said, if you don't see Angela as dated, maybe it's not such a big deal. Plenty of your combos are just fine.
