[Opinions] Need help with pronounciations
For Kelsey, do you say it like Kel-Si (with a short emphasis on the l and -sey ending) or like Kell-Zee/Kell-See (with the l and the -sey ending more drawn out)? Also, do you pronounce Cary and Carey the same? Yes, or no, how do you say it, or differentiate them? Also, does Carey and Kerry sound the same to you?

I say Kelsey with a long -see sound. I pronounce Cary as KA-ree, with a short A, and Carey as KAIR-ree. Kerry is KEH-ree to me, so no, they don't sound the same.

kel-siand yes... both Cary, Carey, and Kerry sound the same to me. The most common use of that name in my area is either Carrie, Kari (girls), or Carey (boys).

I pronounce Kelsey as KELL-see
Cary and Carey I would pronounce the same but differently to Kerry, I pronounce Carey with a more drawn out first syllable, as in the word 'care'. I have an RP British accent.

Kelsey is KEL-see. I've never heard KEL-sih. Cary and Carey are different to me. Cary is CA-ree. Carey is CARE-ee. It's a really hard pronunciation difference for me to explain in words, as I've determined that the A-sound I use in Cary is not natural in a lot of people's accents. It's the A-sound of a not r-controlled vowel even though there's an R. Kerry is KERR-ee. I think this three names are the same as marry, Mary and merry where some pronounce 'em all the same, some pronounce 'em all different, and some are somewhere in between.

I live in Australia. I pronounce Kelsey with a short end syllable. I pronounce Cary "ca-REE" so differently to Kelsey (but I'd pronounce it CARE-ee if someone was introduced as "CARE-ee"). To me, Kerry sounds different, kə-REE.

I say Kelsey with an S sound and not a Z sound, but I can't hear a difference between kel-si and kell-see...I'm not sure what you mean. I'd emphasize the first syllable, if that's what you're asking.Carey and Cary are identical but Cary / Carey (KA-ree, "a" as in apple) and Kerry (KER-ee) are not.

Cary/Carey/Kerry all sound the same to me. Kelsey would be pronouced kell-SEE, with the ee sound drawn out.
