It might look kind of weird in an English-speaking country since it's very strongly associated with a fictional character and there aren't any other bearers who most English-speakers would recognize. French people probably wouldn't bat an eye (even though it's not a very common name in French-speaking countries).
I do like the name, though. Here in Brazil, the usual form of the name is
Hercules. It's not considered particularly "out there" here.
I'd pair it with a more common name like
Felix. Pairing it with an uncommon name might look pretentious.
