Hello Nina,
I have exactly the same dilemma. I agree with you, it is frustrating! My name is Nina also pronounced (Nine-uh; 9-uh) not (Neeen-uh). I love my name and do not want to change it, however I'm considering a spelling change (not a name change) for pronunciation purposes. You may wish to consider the same. All the Best!

Depends on where you are from I guess. Where I come from, Nina ismost definetly pronounced as neeena (knee nuh)
Never heard of it pronounced as nigh nu and quite frankly, I don't care for that pronunciation
