Two names that have been on my mind this week.
Cindy has always seemed very "middle aged lady" to me, along the lines of
Sharon,
Brenda,
Carol,
Linda, etc. But recently it's taken on a different life and now seems more like a friendly, modest "throw-back" name that isn't quite retro but still has this vintage charm to it.
Nancy,
Gail,
Susan and
Diane occupy the same sort of space in my mind. So Wdyt? Could
Cindy work nowadays? And what longer form would you use?
And Wdyt of
Kyler, for a boy. I know, it's trendy nothingness but I'm weirdly attracted to it right now. I seems much sleeker than
Skylar and less "jockish" than
Kyle.
