We were discussing on here the other day how when naming twins, many parents seem to gravitate towards matching or rhyming names so when I read this article, it brought it all back.
Shelby Magnani delivered twins,
Anna and
Ava, over a week ago. Surprisingly, she and her fiancé,
James Croskey, didn't even know she was pregnant. More unusual was the fact that
Anna and
Ava are rare monoamniotic twins (one placenta, one amniotic sac, 50% survival rate).
Okay, so I realize this was a spur-of-the-moment event and the parents probably picked names quickly without having given them much thought beforehand. I wonder if that's why
Anna and
Ava are so twinny. Still, at the last minute, the parents could have done much, much worse.
WDYT of
Anna and
Ava?
