[Opinions] Anna
I know Anna is a tried and true classic, but what are your thoughts on it? I have Anouk on my short list, but today I'm rather in love with Anna, with Anouk, Annushka, and Anya all as potential nicknames.
Also, if you have the time and the inclination, what middle name(s) would you pair with Anna? I use two middle names, and I really want the first middle in particular to have a bit of a kick to it, something with a lot of personality.
Much obliged!

Thank you!
I plan to name my second-born daughter some form of Ana in honour of my paternal grandmother. I’ve considered using Anika, Anamarija, Anastasia or Ana with the nickname Anika, Anushka or Anja. Currently my front runner is Ana-Sofia, called by both names. I also like Ana-Lena and Analisa, but can’t use it in Croatia.
In your situation, I’d definitely go wild with the middle name. How about:
Anna Aglaia
Anna Amaryllis
Anna Benicia
Anna Ceridwen
Anna Damaris
Anna Denali
Anna Eleuthera
Anna Fidelia
Anna Fulgencia
Anna Galatea
Anna Gardenia
Anna Gertrude
Anna Hawys
Anna Hermione
Anna Hippolyta
Anna Iolani
Anna Jonquil
Anna Kinneret
Anna Koviljka
Anna Lavoslava
Anna Loredana
Anna Lourdes
Anna Marieke
Anna Mercedes
Anna Narcissa

Can I ask why you're unable to use Analisa?
Fabulous suggestions - I haven't come across a number of them before! Thank you!

Because the Croatia word for analysis is ‘analiza’ and sounds the same as Analisa.
Glad you like them, I’m always happy to introduce people to new finds.

I love Anna =) It's so classic and yet sometimes it's fresh.
Thank you!
I like Anna. Not sure how much kick/personality you're going for...
Anna Victoire Eloise - first thought
Anna Belphoebe Jane
Anna Clarice Eugénie - I say Clarice to rhyme with "Paris", the old British way
Anna Gertrude Josephine
Anna Margot Celestine
Anna Roslindis Mary
Anna Sigrid Hermione
I'm not good with double middles, but maybe an idea will spark for you.

I like Anna. It's a hard name to hate given how classic it is. I find it a bit boring, I generally like classic names with some interesting nickname possibilities and I prefer some of the longer Ann- names (e.g. Annabeth and Annette)
Anna Calliope
Anna Theodora
Anna Concordia
Anna Henrietta
Anna Brigitta
Anna Sabine

Anna is pretty, but I do think it's pretty common, nothing to really jump at over the name. I much prefer Anya.
The combo first that came to mind is Anna Sage. I tried to come up with 3 name combos...but it just didn't work out very well. I think these work: Anna Olympia, Anna Paloma, Anna Emmeline, Anna Magnolia, Anna Consuelo, Anna Elise, Anna Louise (pretty simple but I could not get it out of my head). I also know an Anna Catherine and an Anna Abigail, maybe those will spark some ideas!

I've recently been feeling a similar way about Anne.
Something about Anna rubs me the wrong way, since I like Anne and Hannah I'm guessing it's some personal association I don't remember the details of. It's a pretty, strong, classic girls name, you can't really go wrong with.
Anna Fabienne Eve
Anna Guinevere Mae
Anna Hermione Fay
Anna Keturah Dulcie
Anna Keturah Lark
Anna Kinneret Jane
Anna Penelope Daisy
Anna Penelope Fay
I prefer the format of short long short for 3 name combos apparently.

I love Anna. I love Annie, Anya and Nancy as nicknames.
I don't think it's boring or tired - Hannah seems to be way more common than Anna where I am. My name is Hannah, but I much prefer Anna. It's more timeless and works in most languages.
I would definitely go wild with the mn!
Anna Hermione - love this, I would consider this myself!
Anna Zenaida / Zenaide
Anna Narcissa
Anna Parthenope
Anna Eurydice - love it!
Anna Marsaili
Anna Zenobia / Zinovia
Anna Euphrasia / Euphrasie
Anna Zosime
Anna Evadne
Anna Callisto
Anna Mnemosyne - so cool
Anna Florentine
Anna Gwendolen
Anna Marjolaine
Anna Scholastica
Anna Zephyrine
Anna Charmian / Charmion
Anna Kerensa
Anna Lilias
Anna Sigrid
Anna Brigitta
Anna Sigrun
Anna Emerentia
Anna Fionnuala

Stunning combinations, thank you so much!
Thank you! :)
And yes, it's an extremely common name here. In one of my classes in school I think at least 75% of the girls were called Anna (first or middle name)!

Anna is one of my middle names (honoring). I think it's okay, but rather boring. Not sure what you mean by "oomph-y" names, but here goes nothing:
Anna Thea Felicity
Anna Jasmine Ariadne
Anna Honora Gabrielle
Anna Evelyn Saoirse
Anna Mae Calliope
Anna Clemente Josephine
Anna Gray Penelope
Anna Isis Leonora
Anna Juniper Ophelia
