[Opinions] Is Helen Keller a bad association, to everyone mentioning her?

Just curious. She did a lot of great stuff but I get the feeling a lot of people just see her as the funniest Apples to Apples card.
I also don't hate Keller as a name. But I don't love it either. I'd assume that it was a family name if I heard it.

I actually think she's a brilliant association. Although to be fair, I go to an all girls' school, and she's one of our houses, so I know a little bit about her and why she was a pretty amazing woman in her time. I'm not too sure about Keller as a name though. Maybe because it just reminds me of school along with early mornings, exams, work, stress, so not necessarily a good thing. And it's not a surname name I particularly like. I feel Helen, Helena (or Helaina) would be a better option.

I don't consider it a bad association. I loved her life story so much as a child that all of my biographical projects were on her. She was an amazing, strong woman who I would be happy to honor-- as Helen.
That being said, kids and even (sometimes especially) adults can be cruel. Given the opportunity there could be less than kind remarks. That, and someone mentioned one of my other concerns-- it is similar to killer.
