[Surname] HEISENBERG and SCHRÖDINGER's meaning
i want to find a meaning of
two surnames of german physicist:
HEISENBERG and SCHRÖDINGER.
First, 'HEISENBERG' is surname of
Werner Heisenberg(1901–1976),
who was awarded the Nobel Prize
for the creation of quantum mechanics,i already knew what 'BERG' means,
that means hill or mountain,
but i don't get it what 'HEISEN' means.
and 'SCHRÖDINGER'is
surname of 'Erwin Schrödinger'(1887-1961)
he was born in Austria, and
also known for "Schrödinger's cat".and i was confused of meaning of
that surname because
looks like a Two surnames...

'SCHRÖDER'(occupational name of "tailor",
or variant of SCHRÖTER,
introduce next sentence)or 'SCHRÖTER'(occupational surname,
meaning "a carrier of wine or beer barrels")

with 'DINGER'(occupational surname of "judge", "arbiter")seem to be combined.
does anybody know what
these surname's real meaning
and respond this question, please?
