What do you think of the name Shannon for a girl? I think it's pretty. I was thinking of Olivia as a mn.

Shannon Olivia is gorgeous. Shannon is very pretty, not used so much these days so she won't be one of many, but still feminine and pretty.

I love it! I think it's refreshing to hear Shannon again, and adding Olivia as the middle name gives it a more 'modern' twist.

I'm sure the majority of '70's and '80's Shannons are Shannon Marie, or Shannon Lynn.

It's fine, seems a little 70s to me just because I knew a number of Shannons my age when I was growing up. Don't feel like I see it much these days. It wouldn't be a choice of mine, but I like it ok.

Well ... my first name is Shannon, so I don't know if it's going to make my response biased. I personally like it. I agree that it may sound a little dated, but I think that Shannon Olivia is really a lovely and refreshing combo to here, even though Olivia is so popular right now. It's not so bad a middle name. I really like it!

The name Shannon IS pretty but unfortunately I know a horrible one so I'd never ever use it myself! Shannon Olivia is a great combo; I even like Olivia Shannon!

I like it.

I used to love it but not as much anymore but it's still nice. I absolutely adore Olivia and think it should be the first name but it wouldn't flow well with Shannon. Shannon Olivia is pretty. I don't think Olivia Shannon sounds nice though :)

I think it's dated. But then, not dated enough that it's ready for a come back IMO. Shannon Olivia is pretty, but Olivia is too overused.

Shannon is my middle name and I've been thinking of using it as a mn for a boy.

I really don't like Shannon. I find it harsh and too dated, while Olivia is overused. Shannon Olivia sounds OK though.
