What is the REAL pronunciation? I have heard so many varieties. My dad said my great aunt Irene Signy pronounced it 'SIG-nee' but I'm sure that's not actually standard.

The Signe I know also pronounces her name SIG-nee. That's not standard?

In Swedish, Signe is pronounced SING-neh, but I think the older variant Signy was pronounced SIG-nih.
