I first saw this name used in
Neil Gaiman's children's horror novel Coraline, and I really, really like it. He's probably made it up himself (at least I haven't seen it anywhere else, and it's not in the database on this site), either by deriving it out of
Cora &
Coralie, or by mixing up the first vowels in
Caroline (in the novel, Coraline's senile neighbour keeps calling her
Caroline, even though she keeps correcting him). Anyways, what do you think? I personally love it.
