Help[Opinions] Nickname for Joseph
I just watched a TV show upon which there was a man named Josey. He was a real person and it's his real name, not a character. And it got me thinking to the book and movie "The Outlaw Josey Wales."
I don't know for sure that the real guy's full name is Joseph or that the fictional character's real name is Joseph, but common sense tells me that Josey on a male must have started out that way.
What do you think of Josey as a nickname for Joseph? Does it work, or is it too feminine?
