[Opinions] Aurea and Lux (plus Leonio)
I really quite like these two names tonight. What are your thoughts on them?
I'm aware of the usage of Lux in The Virgin Suicides, but I'm not sure it bothers me, so I'd prefer it be pushed to one side for the moment.
Additionally, while I was looking at Late Roman names, I came across Leonia. What do you think of it, and how would you feel about the "made up" (as in, the idea just sprung to mind) Leonio?
Much obliged!

I really like these. I don't associate Lux with The Virgin Suicides at all.
Leonio, not so much.. I think I like just Leo best.

I love just Leo, but I'm afraid it's far too popular here! Thanks!
Hahaha, thank you!
Well, I know a Leonie and have often thought how much I like her name. Leonia adds just a touch of frill to it, in a good way. I like Leonia a lot - but then again, I am a fan of "leo" names.
Leonio is interesting. I could actually totally see it in use, though it is not really my style or forte. I much prefer the simple Leon. Still, it works.
As for Lux... I do like it in a simple way. I personally think it is one of those names that takes guts to use (like Pixie or Tulip), but is endearing nonetheless.
I actually like it better on boys and I am not totally sure if you meant it for boys or girls since I cannot remember The Virgin Suicides (though part of me thinks I remember it being about a group of girls).

Aurea is nice. Simple & different.
Don't like Lux at all - good meaning but abrupt sound, too tied to 'luxe' and luxury, and cheap soap:
Leonia is fine though and Leonio is a legit name:

not really my cup of tea, but okay.

I'm glad to see Leonio is legitimate! I was pretty surprised it wasn't in the database. Thank you!
Ah, well, thank you! :)
