Blanks?!?! Seriously...? This would be OK as a middle name, given that it has family significance, but it sounds ridiculous as a first name - like they couldn't think of a name so just left it Blank.
Emily Grace is fine, but as you say it's pretty bland
Alayna sounds pretty byt I prefer the spelling Alaina.

Exactly. I was dumbfounded too. I first thought of blank space, to go blank or shooting blanks. It's just so odd. It doesn't even sound good.
