The years of agonizing waiting came to an end when the Ribbings came with their final attack. The attack itself was rather meaningless, but it left devastating results, the Queen was dead, long life to the new Queen.
While the kingdom and family mourned the death of beloved Lovisa, the fifteen year old Fredrika was expected to take over her late mother's duties. Still in school this was unfanthomable to the young lady, her family and the people. Therefore per her late mother's will Peter was established as the regent until his daughter will come of age.
