[Opinions] Joseth
I just saw this name written somewhere, never heard of it before. I can't decide if it's male or female. It sounds a lot like Joseph + Seth but it also reminds me of Jo, Beth, Judith. I don't really like it. I think it's one of those latino trendy names? I definitely like it more as a boys name, though. Opinions?

No clue about trendy Latino naming habits, but in some South African circles it's quite usual to merge names together, especially if the alternative is using family names and ending up with numerous identically-named cousins.
One of the more startling mergers is Jacobeth - Jacoba + Elisabeth. And quite the worst was when I assumed that a colleague whose name sounded like Suzette was actually named Suzette. She wasn't. She was Suseth.
Joseth, therefore, would make sense to me as Josephine + Elizabeth. If I encountered it on a boy, I'd assume it was a typo for Joseph!

It's the name of three characters in 'A Song of Ice and Fire', the most notable being master of horse at Winterfell: http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Joseth
I don't exactly dislike it, but I prefer Joseph. (And also Seth.) And Josiah. And probably quite a few other similar names. But Joseth isn't bad.

Never heard of it. Maybe it's a trendy form of Josette?
My first thought was that it is really close to Jobeth, so I was getting a feminine vibe. But on second thought it is also close to the way more common Joseph, so it's likely be be mixed up with Joseph all the time. I don't really like it regardless.
It makes me think of a person with a speech impediment saying Joseph.
It seems masculine.

I like it. I mean it has an "lispy" quality to it but I think it is actually somewhat nice. Though it will be constantly mistaken for: Joseph. And yeah, for a boy only.
Some combined names I don't mind
