1/ In both cases, I say MY-uh.
2/ I like Maia and Maya about equally; my spelling of choice would be Mya. And Myah is somewhat of a guilty pleasure.
3/ Isla, Amelia and Maia ... Well Amelia stands out as being a little dull, and I find Isla beautiful but overused.
