Jack Mallory sounds like a cartoon character. Which can be bad, or not. NMS in this case though.
I think Mallory sounds long-faced and dull on either sex. The only reason it ever worked for a girl IMO is the rhyme with Valerie in an American accent. In my mind (not when I meet someone with these names), Madison and Mallory go together, as they are both missed jokes made by the entertainment industry.
