in reply to a message by vekalvin
Recently added the spelling Catherine to my list. There's something about the spelling Cate that's so lovely lately!!! Catherine Eugenia perhaps.
Also recently added Delyth, Lorena (one of my favorites when I was a kid), Octavie (Julia Octavie?), and Carl.
Oh, and I'll do a top ten:
Julia
Eugenia
Elisabeth
Marcella
Dorothy
Virginia
Maude
Ophelia
Laura
Euphemia
Ferdinand
George
Christopher
John
Pascal
Charles
Benedict
Francis
Nicholas
Gabriel

Catherine is a very pretty name, but it appears that a large portion of the world agrees, because it's one of the most popular names for a woman in the Anglophone world. (Combined with the Katherine spelling, it might actually be more popular than Mary.) I also think Lorena is lovely.
I'm not feeling Delyth as much. I find it quite lispy, which is the same problem I have with Lilith. Carl is nms at all.
Of your Top 10 names, I like:
Julia
Elisabeth
Maude
Laura
&
John
Benedict
Francis
Nicholas
