[Opinions] Feodora
What does everyone think of Feodora? I sense that many people admire Theodora, but its Russian variant hasn't garnered much attention. Although I prefer to pronounce the first syllable as "FAY," my knowledge of Russian dictates that it be pronounced as "FEE."Here are some combinations!Feodora Agnes
Feodora Bathsheba
Feodora Blythe
Feodora Catherine
Feodora Cecilia
Feodora Cecily
Feodora Clarissa
Feodora Clementine
Feodora Clothilde
Feodora Constance
Feodora Enid
Feodora Eulalie
Feodora Gwendolen
Feodora Hephzibah
Feodora Judith
Feodora Laetitia / Letitia
Feodora Larissa
Feodora Lilian
Feodora Lucile
Feodora Lucretia
Feodora Magdalene
Feodora Mathilda / Matilda
Feodora Mathilde
Feodora Melisande
Feodora Mildred
Feodora Millicent
Feodora Nastasya
Feodora Nevena
Feodora Sibyl
Feodora Winifred

It's too suggestive of the hat (fedora) to me. I consider it an awkward choice, especially given the allure of classic Theodora and all of its attractive nickname possibilities: Thea, Theo, Teddy, et al.

Allure is subjective!(I love Theodora, though I prefer the more mystical Theodosia.)

I do like Theodosia. I'm reticent to consider a name so long with my imposing surname. So many letters can water down a name's impact.

I pronounce it Fee-oh-door-ah. It's way too close to "fedora" imo; when I see/hear/say it, all I think of is a hat.

I really like Feodora! Timofey too, speaking of Russian names with F instead of TH.Two new royal babies (cousins, not twins) are expected in Sweden next spring, and I would SO use Feodora (or at least Theodora) if I were Crown Princess Victoria or Prince Carl Philip - their grandmother was Princess Sibylla Calma Marie Alice Bathildis Feodora. But I guess none of them will. :(These are very nice:
Feodora Clothilde
Feodora Lucretia
Feodora Magdalene
Feodora Mathilde
Feodora Melisande
Feodora Nevena
Feodora Winifred

I like "Fio" or "Feo" as a nickname a lot! I really enjoy Fiona and Fiorenza. But Feodora is also nice. Truthfully, though, I love Theodora and I don't think Feodora is as nice as Theodora. Feodora Clementine is fantastic!
Feodora Cecily is very sweet.
Feodora Mathilde is unexpected.
Feodora Millicent is adorable
