I prefer REE-gan, since RAY-gan reminds me of "ray gun".However, I'd stay away from Reagan entirely. It's pronunciation is just too ambiguous for me, and I also dislike its masculine sound.

If it is spelled Reagan I would automatically pronounce it "ray-gan". If you want it pronounced like "ree-gan" you would have to spell it Regan (which I prefer).

Definently #1... Ray-gan

Honestly, I don't like it either way, but I guess I'd have to pick Ray-gan. I like this name better for a boy's middle name, but whatever. It's not so horrid, don't take it offensivly. ;)

I would only use Ray-gan for this spelling because Ronald Reagan has pretty well solidified that as the normal pronunciation. If I wanted to pronounce the name "Ree-gan", I would spell it Reegan or Regan (the latter being the surname of one of Ronald Reagan's cabinet members, who pronounced it Ree-gan).

I like Regan (this spelling) pronounced REE-gan. But I'd never use it because I dislike the RAY-gan pronunciation and all the other spellings.

I don't particularly like Reagan for a girl, but I think that the RAY-gan pron. is the most unambiguous and therefore I prefer it. ----Betsy-----

I prefer RAY-gen, I think because REE-gan seems more surnamey.
