I'd go with Diana. Today she'd be Diana Marigold, I think. Siblings Clara, Juliet, and Frederick.

Does Susannah count? If so, maybe something sweet like Susannah Elise.Otherwise, I would use Johanna. Johanna Mathilde. Johanna Astrid.I admire Roxana, Alanna, Brianna, Kiana, and Dianna in different ways from afar, but probably wouldn't use them. And as much as I love Julia, Juliana is way too frilly for my tastes. It reminds me of a Sweet Sixteen party. Lots of little Julianas and Juliannas in my area, interestingly.

Julianna
Roseanna
DeannaThose are the only ones I like that have -anna endings with two Ns. Maybe also Evanna.
I like Joanna too, although it's not my style personally.
vote up1
Ooo, Evanna is neat. NEver heard of that one.

Definitely Ariana. Nn Ari. Love it.I'm trying to think of any others that I like. There are Anna related names (Anneliese, Anouk, Annika...) on my list, but I think that's the only -ana -anna one. I always loved Hannah, it was my favourite for about ten years. But I don't know if that counts.Does Sana count? Not technically an -anna name really.

Sana can "count". :) The rules are pretty loosy-goosy. I've never heard of Sana, but I'm liking it. Great meaning too.

I recently discovered Johana and think it's smashing. (Slight tweak: I'm pronouncing it "jo" not "yo.") I love the nn Jo or Josie. Another ana/anna name I like is Lilyana. Not sure what I'd pair with it. Some combo...Johana Elise
Johana Rae
Johana Rose
Johana Simone
Johana Leigh
Johana Camille
Johana Gabrielle

Interesting spelling. I like Johana Elise and Johana Camille.

I would choose Sana or Diana.. or plain old Anna.I'm not a fan of '-ana' or '-anna' names as I find them too frilly. If I have to pick one: Susannah, nickname Sana.

Delphi_Blue mentioned Sana too. It's really simple yet pretty. It's new to me, but I think I really like it. And as a nickname for Susannah is awesome, since I already love Susannah.

For some reason I really am not a fan of -anna names, no idea why. The only one I kind of like is Susanna(h) but I would definitely use a nickname with it, either Suzy, Sunny or Sukie. On the spot combo ideas: Susanna Iris or Susanna Molly. I prefer -ana names but not a whole bunch, just Morgana, Lana (if it counts) & Jordana really. I would use all of those names without a nickname though. Combo ideas:

Morgana Lucy
Morgana AliceLana Rosamond
Lana WinifredJordana Maeve
Jordana Tamsin

I don't like Jordana at all, yet Jordana Maeve is quite striking. Lana Winifred is adorable.

Hosanna is my fave, but I prefer it for a mn. Phoebe Hosanna, Eve Hosanna, Eden Hosanna, Ruth Hosanna and Daisy Hosanna are all combos I love. If I had to choose an -Anna name for a fn, it would be between Roxanna, Arianna and Johanna. I quite like Roxanna Phoebe, Arianna Joy and Johanna Ruth.

Hosanna is my favourite too! Phoebe Hosanna is sweet.Johanna Ruth is gorgeous.

I'd probably use Julianna, Tatyana, or Oksana on most days. Today I'll stick with Julianna. I'd nickname her Jill, possibly Jules sometimes.Julianna Magdalene
Julianna Flore
Julianna Blythe
Julianna Pauline
Julianna RutaJulianna, Cassandra, Everett, and... Wilhelm. Jill, Cass, Rhett / Rett, and Wil.

Jill for Julianna is a cool idea. Julianna Ruta is unexpected and wonderful.

My favorites are ♥ Rosanna ♥ , Ileana, Viviana, and Alana. I don't know what nicknames, if any, I would use. Knowing me it would be something like Viv or Ro. Rosanna Maeve
Ileana Kristina
Viviana Scarlet
Alana IsabelMost of my favorites are less frilly and more consonant heavy, so I'm not sure what I would pair any of them with. I'm open to suggestions.

Aw, Ro for Rosanna is adorable. I'm loving Maeve in the middle.

I love Anna over all other -anna names, and I only really like -ana names. With that I'd say:Georgiana Florence Eve "Georgie"/"Annie", siblings Constance, Frederick, and Francesco.Or...Morgana Hermione Clio "Ora/Aura", siblings Demelza, Caspian, & Horatio.
vote up1
Oh true... I change my answer to Georgiana! :)

Your sibsets rock!I would never have thought of Ora for Morgana, but I like it!
vote up1
Thanks! I just threw the sibsets together, espeically the boys haha.

How could I forget about Georgiana and Morgana? I adore those.Your combos and sibling sets are great! :)

Thanks! It's nice to see some love for Morgana especially.

Aviana "Avi"
Liana "Lia"
Oceana
Solana "Sol"
Viridiana "Vira"
Valeriana "Val" probably
Susanna "Suzie"We almost used Liana for our daughter, but went with something similar instead, so I can't use Liana now. Now, I'd probably use Oceana or Susanna.

Solana is one I've never thought about before, but it's growing on me.

Kaimana Miriam, probably without a nn. Solomon Kaleo as a sibling.Kai & Sol, if I did shorten them.

Kaimana sounds like a person I would want to know. I imagine she'd be so eclectic and interesting in her pursuits.
I notice two of the names are Hawaiian. Do you have a connection to Hawaii?
vote up1
Not really, although I'm thinking about moving there in the near future.Kaimana's just my favorite ___ana name by a pretty wide margin, and I tend to like sibsets that match culturally.

Of the -anna / -ana names I can think of, I like:Adriana
Julianna
Rhianna
Roxana
Sylvanna
TatianaOf those, if I had to choose one, it would be Julianna. I think Julianna can be said on its own on an everyday basis, but if a nickname were absolutely necessary I'd go with Julie (no Jules!).I once had the combo Julianna Lindsay in my Top 10, which I still think is pretty (I know Lindsay isn't terribly popular on BtN). I also think Julianna Maris would be lovely.I feel like Julianna would fit in well with siblings Arthur, Edmund, Miranda, and / or Vivian.

I'm with you on the "no Jules". :)
Julianna and Miranda would be awesome sisters!
vote up1
Choosing from your list, Julianna Carys, possibly "Jules".
vote up1
Julianna seems to be the most popular one. That and Johanna.
Carys makes a very nice middle in there.

I quite like Silvana, so I would be tempted to use that. I also have a soft spot for Holly-Anna - which is slightly over the top by most standards. In general I tend to veer away from feminine names that end in a, but if I went with Silvana I think that Giustina or Giuditta would make a lovely sibling choice. Yes, I would nickname in probably every case. Silvana could be either Silvi or Vana and I Would like it (Silvi and Ditta is kinda cool). Holly-Anna might become Honna though, which I prefer as a full name as well.

I love the thought of sisters Silvana and Giustina.

Silvi and Ditta are totally awesome and cute and spunky and fun.
