Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and wife Dr. Priscilla ‘Cilla’ Chan welcomed daughter Maxima 'Max' Chan Zuckerberg.
American actor Cam Gigandet and fiancée Dominique Geisendorff welcomed daughter Armie Heartly Gigandet. She joins big brother Rekker Radley, 3, and sister Everleigh Ray, 6½.
American actress Sandra Bullock has adopted daughter Laila (pronounced Lila -I assume they mean ' LIE-lə' ), 3½. She joins big brother Louis Bardo Bullock (pronounced 'loo-EE'), 5. Louis was adopted as a baby and she named him, but since Laila was adopted as a toddler she was probably already named.

Normally I don't mind Maxima (it sounds nice on the Dutch queen), but on Zuckerberg's baby it sounds a little ostentatious. And Max as a nickname on a girl sounds awful.

Oh I was wondering if "Max" was short for anything, since thats what has been on facebook. Good. Maxima. Nice.
I have no idea who the second guy is. Lower level celebrities always have weirder baby names, has anyone noticed? Weirder in a bad way usually but not always (I mean we always give "Pilot Inspektor" as the best example of a bad celebrity baby name, but does anyone actually talk about Jason Lee otherwise?)

Armie and Rekker ... such lovely and uplifting names! I wish I could have been named for some type of destruction or military - it would have made me feel so loved and welcome in the world, to be anything I wanted to be. Maybe they might name their next children Rayper Rewdley and Battalianne Gritlee. New babies are so inspiring!
