Calvin Reid is rather dashing! I like it and Cal makes a cute nn.

Cal is a cute nn, but unfortunately their last name also starts with a K sound and ends in L, so it really doesn't sound great. Think Cal Kindle. Otherwise I think I would like this combo more.

Calvin Reid is NMS but the combo has a nice flow and Calvin isn't too common ... yet. I do like Reed / Reid.

I like Calvin. It's one of those names that feels very Canadian to me because it's maintained it's popularity for the past 40 or so years where it's waned significantly in the US. Reid is fine.

I really like there reverse of that... Reid Calvin.

Very lovely combo. Both names are great (I like and prefer the spelling of Reid over Reed) and they flow well together. It's very decent and practical

Hi !!!Calvin: I don't like it at all.
It is childish for me.
And also in italian "calvo" means bald..
So I have got this sad link with this word.Reid: I don't like it at all.
It remember me the word "raid"1. a sudden assault or attack, as upon something to be seized or suppressed:
a police raid on a gambling ring.
2. Military. a sudden attack on the enemy, as by air or by a small land force...and also the word "rave" with a negative emotion.So...I'm very sorry but..I don't like this combo.Byeeeee

IMO it's nerdy and a little bland, yet stylish in an almost sleek, mid-century mod kind of way. These were my first associations...1) Calvin Coolidge, especially since I know Reid means "red" and that he was a redhead.
2) Tweed suits, probably because it rhymes with Reid, and I was already thinking "nerdy".
3) Alvin and the Chipmunks
4) Calvinism
5) Calvin KleinI've never met a Calvin IRL. I probably wouldn't have guessed it was in the top 200 in the US.
