I really like Elise, even though I also hate that it comes from Elizabeth (I have to say I admire the extent of your loathing for that name). I mostly like Elise because of its connection to Für Elise.

3. No, at least definitely not as a first name.
4. One of my first thoughts for this was Clara, before I read further down your post! Also Lucy, Camilla, Margot, Lydia, Claudia, Viola, Juliet.
5. I often switch between liking Elise or Elsie more. I enjoy that they're anagrams.
Both Audrey Elise and Clara Elise sound very nice, but Clara Elise is much better.

Thanks! I find it interesting that you mentioned Lucy because I had considered that too. Also strangely enough I have a friend named Margo.
