Help[Games] Grimscribe's High Fantasy KUY Congrats | Round 0
This started off life as a series of NTNBs, but I thought a KUY Congrats would be more fun! I'll make a little story for each round, but feel free to add to it, change it, make your own stories for your families if you want... or you can ignore it. The story for this round is huge, and was originally a huge introduction to a NTNB family.

DH and DW are the new King and Queen of a High Fantasy Kingdom. DH came to the throne at a young age after his father was assassinated by rebel insurgents led by disgruntled former members of the King's Guard. After a period of unrest and near civil war, the rebellion was quashed and a tenuous peace restored, although that peace threatens to break into conflict once more at any given moment. DH was placed on the throne several years after his father's murder by royalists, but is still rather young, green and inexperienced at ruling. He is a kind man, though, maybe a little too kind and soft-hearted, and has already instated several popular policies and given more rights to his people than his rather draconian father ever did. If he continues to survive and rule with the kindness he has already shown, he might become a kind and just ruler. He is already far more popular a ruler than his father, or indeed, grandfather or great-grandfather ever were.
DW is DH's Elven wife. She is from elven aristocracy and was initially a controversial choice for Queen. DH and DW met when he was in exile after his father's death, and she helped him come to turns with the burden that was placed on his shoulders at a young age. They became lovers, and she was heartbroken when he left to become King. He couldn't leave her behind, though, and when he asked her to become his Queen she faced a difficult decision - to stay with her people, or to join the man she loved. She still misses her elven community, and is torn between her identity and the life she has now. At 85 she's still young for an elf, but she's seen much more of the world than her husband and is a wise and intelligent Queen, gently guiding her good-hearted but inexperienced husband's judgement and acting as his trusting advisor. She knows his life is fleeting and is determined that he will be remembered as a great King.
DH has four names. One name comes from Game of Thrones. One name comes from Tolkien. One name comes from this list: http://www.britishbabynames.com/blog/2014/01/scandi-spectaculars.html. DW has one name and a patronymic 'surname'. Her given name comes from either of these lists: http://realelvish.net/names/old/quenya/people/celestial/ or http://realelvish.net/names/old/quenya/people/colors/, each Quenya word has a list of names after it which are the word + a name suffix, you can pick any name from the list, as long as it's female or neutral. Her surname comes from this list: http://realelvish.net/names/old/quenya/people/elements/. Pick a name which means 'Daughter of (X)', eg - for Nyelecca (Onyx), pick something like Nyelecciel (Daughter of Onyx) as her surname. No need to include the bracketed meaning, but you can if you want!
The Kingdom's name is also up to you. It's High Fantasy, made up, and two words. The first word starts and ends in a consonant and is only one syllable, the second word is at least two syllables and ends in a vowel. It's pretty and musical sounding.
