A lot of those names sound like people from a planet very like Earth, but not quite.

Some comments:
Leonidas Santiago - not so bad per se, but a mouthful.
Isreal Joseph - I suppose he's real since his BA is here...
Sully Wilhelm - A big, kind monster hiding in your wardrobe.
Rowdy Wesley - because Dennis the Menace wasn't unique enough.
Pocahontas Zafenya Matoaka - we are part Cherokee...we think...or some other cool tribe...
Jupiter Ellen - she's a big girl.
Passion Lee - is that even an adverb?
Italeah Jane - yeah, you see, she was made in Ittalie...Itally...Ittely....that country that looks like a boot. Y'know?
Dove Harper - doves coo. They don't play the harp.

I actually quite like Dove Harper, and I like Alvera. Leonidas Santiago is possibly one of the most perfect names I've ever heard in a book-character sort of way. It has a beautiful, bizarre ring to it. That kid has a lot to live up to, with a name as impressive as that. Same with Auroxander Severus.

Leonidas Santiago is actually pretty bada$$, though weird if he's not from a Spanish-speaking family.
I also like the name Rylan (though I prefer Ryland).
Pocahontas' parents must REALLY love Pocahontas (her real name was Mataoka), but I don't know what Zafenya is... when I Googled it, I brought up Zephaniah.
Kitana isn't terrible, by itself.
All the other names are dreck, imo.

Kitana is a name of a Mortal Kombat character, it is play on the word katana, which is a Japanese sword!
