What name would you use as a full name for the nickname Deedee?

I knew a Dinah who was known as Di until, as a teenager, she read Kafka and decided that an initial as a name was the way to go. She became Dee so successfully that her husband never knew its origin until their children were grown up.So, really, any name starting with D would do. Perhaps it might even work as a nn for Deborah; it's not wonderful but it's a whole lot better than Debby!

I don't think anyone else has meantionen Desideria. That was my great grandmother's name. Her nickname was Daisy.

Any name that starts with D could use that as a nickname. If I had to choose one then I'll go with Delilah, but I agree with the others that Deirdre is a good choice as well.

Deirdre came to mind first (probably because I know a Deirdre "Dee").

Dorothy is typical, but I don't like Dorothy. I love Diandra and Diantha, so definitely one of those.I knew a DeeDee whose real name was Janice. Go figure.

Deirdre, but there's also the idea of a 2 D combo like like Daphne Drusilla or Daisy Diana.

Deirdre is what comes to mind. But you could use an name starting with a D.
