I like Janine. I think it's an easy one to gloss over, though... I feel this way about a lot of -ine names for some reason. Janine, Nadine, Pauline, etc. are all perfectly pretty names, but they're all sidekicks to me. I wonder why that is.
Anyway, I'd pair Janine with something like Marisa, Elise, or Katrina. Familiar twists on English classics. =P
