One of my friends in primary schools name was Gilda (Jill-da) she was portugese or something.
If your pronouncing it the same way i think Gilda Rae is nice, i detest Janine though..

I would be pronuncing Gilda with a hard G actually, so that the first syllable was more like that of Gilbert than Jillian.
I really like Gilda Lenore--anything related to Poe is a thumbs-up in my book. :D I also like Gilda Blythe and Gilda Sarai a lot. Thank you, Bex!
