Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle welcomed their second daughter yesterday, and her name is Valentina Angelina Jonas. She joins big sister Alena Rose.I think the combo is wayyyyyyyy too rhyme-y. Valentina is a GP, and I like Angelina, but they don't flow very well together. WDYT?Vote on my brand-new PNLs!

They probably were like, we know it rhymes but we really like both names! It's cute and it's a very girly sibset with Alena (I prefer the Alina spelling).

Surely they couldn't be unaware of how silly this facepalm-worthy combo sounds. There are so many things I do not like about this combo, including, but not limited to: the repeated number of syllables (4), the accented syllable on the third syllable repeated, the trite rhyme.

I like both names, but definitely not together, and Alena and Valentina are so rhymey. Reminds me of Angelina Ballerina.

A bit close. Like Alanna and Hannah. At least it is not a sib-set. Valentina Angela would be a bit less rhymy. They have to much Ena/Ina.

I like Valentina, but I agree that Valentina Angelina is too rhyme-y and a bit over the top. I like Valentina a LOT better than Alena, although Rose is nice. Valentina Rose would have been better imo.

Individually, the names aren't bad at all. Together? The whole effect is way overkill and reminds me of the book series, Angelina Ballerina. Still, it beats the misspelled Alena, grrr ...

The names are nice per se - I really like Valentina - but I don't like rhyming names. Valentina Angelica would have been better.
Alena Rose is OK, but it makes me think "alone I rose" or "alien rose".

Your mention of alien reminds me of a girl who is in my dd's class. Her mn is Alien -- pronounced Eileen! :-)
