[Opinions] Greta and Meta
What do you think of Greta? I really like it at the moment. I've also started to like Meta. They are both forms of Margaret. Opinions?

I like Greta. My grandmother's name was Margareta and she was called Greta.
Meta is very old-fashioned in Sweden and also pretty uncommon, although there is an old actress called Meta Welander whom I guess is a good namesake. Although "meta" also means "to angle; to fish with a fishing pole" in Swedish, so the name makes me think of fish!

I love Greta. I prefer it as a nn for Margaretta / Margareta but it also works for Margaret.Meta is actually pretty sounding unfortunately it is a little too common of a term especially among gamers and geeks so I would never use it.

Prefer Greta to Meta, but I actually like both. Greta seems a little more cutesy than Meta, but Meta is definitely a strong sound and look. It would depend on which you prefer. I love both best as nicknames to Margaret though.
(I have a little niece Greta, so I might be a bit biased)

Greta is cute. I named my car Greta.Meta is sort of hilarious. I have heard it used as an abbreviation for metaphysical. "OMG! This is totes meta!"

I love Greta! It's such a pretty name, in my opinion. I could care less for Meta.

Greta is alright, but Meta sounds like a Matrix character and an edgy word name!

Greta is nice, Meta just looks odd.

I think Greta is charming and Margaret has really grown on me lately. Meta doesn't feel like a name to me though.
