On a scale of1-10, I give Brody a 3.
Brody is not a personal favorite. But I can see it as a nickname for Broderick (= brother). :0)
It's gross
It's one of the ugliest sounding names I've come across. The "bro" part sounds horrible to me, and it reminds me of the slang word "grody."
Hmmm, I'm not very good at "rating names" maybe 7\10
I like the name but prefer it more as a middle name I think

Don't know what you mean by rate but I'll give you my 'ments (comments).
It's very dog-like, and when I see it on a person I assume they're something like a golden retriever. I assume that when family decides to use it, this is the vibe they're purposefully trying to give off - a popular, sporty, energetic guy. That's an okay vibe IMO, just not one I've ever identified with. And I'm not saying all this because it begins with "Bro" either; it's more because it's a combination of Cody (sk8r boi) and Brady (prepster). I guess I can see the appeal aesthetically but I don't think it's a very substantial name.
If I was rating Brody out of 10, I'd give it about a 5.
